In the beginning…

It all started when I couldn’t find doll and girl matching clothes for the girls that weren’t ridiculously expensive. The girls are deep into the “American Girl Doll” stage, where they want to dress like their dolls. I totally get it, its super cute. But damn, $40 for some girl pajama’s and then add another $24 for the matching doll clothes THEN add shipping, times two cuz you can’t just get one kid a set and not the other. SO… an idea was born, I’m going to sew a bunch of clothes for the girls and their dolls!!! Bahahahahahaaaaa, I must have been drinking. (really, I probably was) but I was committed. I bought material, made a pattern, attempted and fell flat.

Because lets face it. I for 1) have no sewing skills, 2) have absolutely NO patience and 3) just don’t have the time needed to do anything.

Time for Plan B.

Just have the clothes made and see what happens. So I took the little savings I had and solicited some manufacturers to make me and the girls little idea into reality and here we are. They really turned out adorable and the girls said they are super comfortable.  Win-Win!!
