I love getting goodies to review from Influenster!!!

Influenster, in case you were wondering, matches products to industry professionals who will use them and then provide honest feedback to the company. They have all kinds of categories, like food, beauty, home and garden, etc. The products come in a box to your home, called a VoxBox. Check them out online to start reviewing your own products!

I just got the Laura Mercier (VoxBox), which included this adorable compact with matte and shimmery shadows.

I tested them out and here are the results.

base – METALLIK PLATINUM
highlight – METALLIK RUST
liner – BLACKENED BLACK CLAY

It’s suggested to use with your fingers but I prefer the look of a brush application. Fingers are oily and thought these are clay based, finger application is messy and really difficult to blend.

p.s. please don’t mind my awful eyebrows, I was trying to grow them out but I am like a preteen boy growing in a spotty beard!

These shadows arrived in this super cute flat black compact with mirror. I love using makeup that is packaged beautifully.

Color applied smooth and blended pretty easily. I’m not a huge fan of blues but they were dark enough to use as a liner and still look black.

My two cents. 
Gorgeous eyeshadows. They would translate easily from day to night. The metallics had a smooth application with a shimmer finish. Love. The mattes worked well for a liner and smokey eye.
